My Story

It’s January 2021, I’m sitting in a little clay house in South West Portugal. I left my security & my life in Berlin / Germany behind, my own apartment, my career as a marketing team lead in a global company. Realizing after my second burnout that I have built a life that was never truly “mine”, but from who I thought I needed to be in this world. But the truth was: I did not know who I actually was. Too long I tried to be “somebody” to the point that I forgot who I actually am. The true me. I felt lost & disconnected from myself, looking at the broken pieces of my life with the question: who am I & what am I here for? And I prayed to god to help me remember who I really am. 

In the same month, AKASHA SOUL ART started to unfold through me as a series of soul portrait paintings, which I did not know would be the beginning of my answered prayer & initiation to my purpose, which started at this very moment. 

For two years, I have been on a vision quest journey, without a home, living in nature, in my car with my little dog Yahé. Painting in nature, in forests, at the beach, on cliffs, on the streets. And with every soul avatar I was painting, there was another fragment & soul expression that I rediscovered & remembered within myself. To remember who I really am, meant to be & came to create.
